Dadish 3D

Explore a new dimension of platforming fun.

It isn’t easy being a father – especially when your kids constantly put themselves in peril! Rescue your wayward children in Dadish 3D by leaping over saw blades, dashing across crumbling bridges and riding a giant hamburger. It’s a fresh dimension for the beloved 2D side-scrolling series, but the same old mischief!

What we love: The banter. Successfully avoiding dozens of obstacles to reach the end of a level is its own reward, but the cherry on top is having a hilarious chat with your lost offspring, who blame their misbehaviour on everything from time travel to the lawlessness of crabs. Kids these days!

Chases that see you run towards the camera make the most of Dadish 3D’s new perspective.

Quick tip: Need to nail a tricky jump that requires pinpoint accuracy? Tilt the camera to an overhead view and use Dadish’s shadow to line up your landing. It makes hopping across small platforms much easier.

Meet the creator: Thomas Young is the New Zealand–based solo developer behind the Dadish series, the Super Fowlst games and Molecano. Young’s son, Roddy – who spent a lot of time sitting on Young’s lap as he worked – inspired some of Dadish 3D’s dialogue (and insisted there be a megalodon somewhere in the game).
