Pairing two or more agents from the same faction (or who share the same elemental type) activates cool buffs and bonuses, such as stronger ultimate attacks. Try to assemble a trio who feed off each other’s skills, such as the dream team of Nicole, Anby and Nekomiya.

Done thrashing thugs and mutants for the day? Deplete your remaining in-game battery charge by doing combat simulations at the HIA Club. You’ll earn valuable resources, and your battery will fully recharge within 24 hours.

Though you can exchange polychrome for master tapes at the Signal Shop, this precious currency should be invested in encrypted master tapes instead – these give you a chance to unlock more powerful S-rank characters and weapons.

New Eridu is full of secrets to discover – such as NPCs who will give you hidden quests. Once you reach Inter-Knot level 41, for instance, talk to Tina in Lumina Square on two separate in-game days, listen to the radio in your home base, then return to Tina to get a secret combat commission.

Don’t forget to regularly visit General Chop’s ramen shop – his noodles will buff your party’s abilities for the next three battles. And drinks at the nearby Coff Cafe recharge your in-game battery while increasing the drop rate for valuable materials. Carbs plus caffeine equals conquest!
