Things That Go Bump

When evil spirits possess everyday objects, your home becomes a battleground.

Ever wonder what your spatula and TV remote are up to while you’re sleeping? In the wacky Things That Go Bump, they’re fighting! Assemble a wee warrior from household items – a snow globe for a body, chopsticks for legs and scissors to cut foes down to size – and take on supernatural spirits also crafted from everyday objects. Battle from the bedroom to the bathroom to save your slumbering home.

What we love: Experimenting with different items to form hilarious fighters. Like a cheese-grater body, nimble paper clips for legs, a shower cap parachute and a yo-yo for devastating ranged attacks. Good thing someone forgot to tidy up!

Cute sound effects and loads of interactive objects transform this house into an awesome battlefield.

Quick tip: Fight with fire! In the kitchen, jump up and hit the oven controls to turn on the burners. If you can lure enemies into the flames, you can clear entire waves without lifting a finger (or fork).

Meet the creator: Brooklyn-based Tinybop was founded in 2012 by Raul Gutierrez, a dad who wanted kids to explore and play in weird and wonderful worlds. Things That Go Bump was inspired in part by Japanese legends of yokai – spirits sometimes said to take the form of inanimate objects.
