After six years building Mozper as cofounder & CFO—and following its acquisition (to be disclosed) and a transition period—I’m moving ahead from my role. It’s impossible to fit this journey into one post, but I want to share thanks and a few reflections. It’s wild to look back at how a mission-led idea became a leading regulated fintech in youth banking—serving hundreds of thousands of families in Mexico and Brazil, helping kids learn smart money skills—and grew into something meaningful, impactful, and so much greater than the sum of its parts! Milestones I’m incredibly proud of: • Building a mission-driven product our users loved and trusted • Creating lasting impact on families and kids’ futures • Forming a DREAM TEAM of talented, driven people • Running (and winning) the regulatory marathon for our IFPE license in Mexico • Partnering with top-tier providers & institutions to deliver a stellar experience • Operating with discipline, balancing growth, risk, and responsibility • Never compromising the core values Mozper was built on A special thank-you to my cofounder, Gabriel Roizner Your vision and relentlessness set the tone from day one. We faced big swings together—fundraising cycles, launches, pivots, tough calls, huge wins, hard falls—and you met each with courage and heart. I’m grateful for our partnership, our shared values, and for the culture of resilience and empathy we built. Creating Mozper by your side has been one of the great privileges of my career! To our team Product, engineering, growth, operations, BI, compliance, finance, and CX—your grit, talent, curiosity, and care for our users made Mozper what it is! Ignacio Puente, Claudia Valdes, Victor P., Bruno Alves, Sergio Romero, Raúl Muñoz, Angel Hernandez, Carlo Spada, Pedro Yarid, — I won’t tag everyone, but you know who you are and how deeply appreciated you are. 🙏 To our community Parents—thank you for trusting us with something so personal: your children’s financial education. Your feedback shaped the product and your stories kept us going. Kids—thank you for the opportunity, we learned so much from you! To our partners & providers Dock, Visa, Pomelo, Incode, Complif, etc — thank you for believing in our mission and helping us build responsibly across borders. To our investors, advisors & mentors Deep gratitude to those who backed us and stayed close through highs & lows: John Farrell, Pavel Livshiz & Anat Eitan (Zach)(Hetz Ventures), David Jegen & Rocio Wu Dianoux (F-Prime), Diego Urrea, David Alvo (Impacta VC), José Luis Silva Vázquez (Dux Capital), Y Combinator, Louise Hill and many others. We owe it all to you believing in us. Your support and guidance meant so much more than you know! This journey taught me about perseverance, disciplined execution, clarity under pressure, and the joy of building with purpose. I leave with gratitude, learnings, lifelong relationships, and so much pride in what we built together. 💜 #fintech #latam #startups
