Eligibility, Tournament Play and Scoring
- Participants must present their entry receipt and/or invitation when applicable along with their photo ID and Players Club card to a tournament attendant or official for verification and registration (see Exhibit 1) prior to taking a seat at a tournament table in the designated tournament area.
- Substitutes and/or partners may be permitted, however, the substitute or partner may/may not be permitted to play more than one (1) round/session of tournament play in tournaments with multiple sessions. Also, the substitute or partner cannot be a primary player or invited guest in the same tournament. All substitutes are subject to the Tournament Official’s approval.
- Tournament officials will determine table and seating assignments and issue a Seating Card (see Exhibit 2). Assignments will be random. Tournament officials may change a player’s seating assignment at any time at their sole discretion. Prior to the start of each round, a tournament official will verify that players are in the correct seats at the proper time.
- It is recommended that participants check in and remain in the tournament area at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.
- Requests for changes to session times must be made with a tournament attendant or official at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of the 1st session.
- This tournament will consist of two (2) rounds with Round One (1) a continuous session with up to six (6) tables. Each table will have up to six (6) players per table with continuous seatings throughout the session. A leaderboard will display the top six (6) scores in the tournament area. The top (6) scores from Round One will advance to the Final Round 2.
ThrillAgains:
- A “ThrillAgain” is defined as the moment a participant chooses to discard one (1) of their current cards and replace it with another. It can be used to replace one (1) of the first two (2) cards, but once action has been taken on the hand, the ThrillAgain can only replace the most recent “hit” card. The player can then continue to have action on the hand once the card has been replaced. The replacement card will be the next card in the “shoe.”
- ThrillAgains may only be used once per seating.
- If a player does not use their ThrillAgain chip, the chip is forfeited at the end of the last hand or when the player is eliminated.
- ThrillAgains can be purchased once per purchased Buy-in.
- Round 1 will be limited to exactly ten (10) hands and Round 2 will be limited to twelve (12) hands.
- An eight (8) or six (6) deck shoe will be used with players’ cards dealt face up. Players may not touch their cards.
- Each player will be provided with $50,000 in non-negotiable tournament chips at the beginning of each round. These tournament chips have no cash value and will be used for tournament play only. Bets must be made in increments of 1,000 points.
- Tournament chips must be kept in full view and in order at all times.
- Unless otherwise stated by tournament officials, smoking and/or drinking may be allowed at tournament tables. All smoking and drinking materials must be kept in full view of the dealer and tournament officials.
- The minimum bet is $1,000 and there is no limit on the max bet.
- The natural first base position is the position of the starting hand to be dealt for each session. Each subsequent hand will be dealt to the same natural first base position.
- To allow for equal betting strategies, players’ betting sequences will rotate clockwise each hand. A rotating first bettor marker will be used and will be moved one position clockwise, each hand, to maintain betting order. Once a player has placed a wager, it cannot be changed or removed.
- All Blackjacks shall be paid at a rate of 3 to 2.
- Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Table Games Rules will prevail at all times (except as provided in 13, 14, and 15 of this section above).
- Players may play only one (1) hand and play only from the betting area that corresponds to their assigned position.
- Cards will be dealt face up. If a player cannot act upon their hand within twenty (20) seconds of being requested to do so by the dealer, the hand shall stand pat. A player not making a bet within twenty (20) seconds of being requested to do so by the dealer will forfeit 1,000 points (minimum bet) in tournament chips.
- At the end of each round, players’ chips will be counted and their scores registered by a tournament attendant or official by means of a Tournament Score Card. Players will sign or initial the Tournament Score Card to confirm.
- Once engaged in any round of the tournament, players are not allowed to discuss their hands, wager amounts or any other strategy. Failure to obey this rule can result in immediate ejection from the tournament.
