World's leading Organization for Women in Tech. On a mission to empower 5 million women and girls in tech by 2030
À propos
Women in Tech® is more than simply a women’s networking group. We are an international non-profit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) sector. Our goal is to see girls and women succeed in these career fields, along with their male colleagues. Today, we are in the midst of the fourth Industrial Revolution. If it is going to succeed, the level of women’s participation must grow. Ultimately, we want our daughters and granddaughters to live in a world where access to knowledge, innovation and business opportunities are based on interest and ability, not gender. To achieve this goal, we must take action now. Our Vision A world where every girl and woman has equal access to opportunities in STEM. In a rapidly changing world, science, technology, engineering and mathematics have already had profound impact on our daily lives. We believe that girls and women have much to contribute in these areas. By supporting them in their choice to pursue STEM education and careers, we are standing on the cusp of a major global shift in how we teach, study, work, do business and more. Our Mission To close the gender gap in the STEM sector by helping girls and women embrace science, technology, engineering and mathematics. These subjects are not innately suited for one gender over another, and there is no rational reason why girls and women should not pursue career options in STEM if they choose.

Happy Birthday Yma-Lhasa! We can't wait to hear you in Cape Town 💙
Founder and CEO Women in Tech ® Global | Founder Tech Diplomacy Institute | UNESCO | WEF Global Future Council Member | Doctoral Candidate | 40 Women Forbes | Mother of 4
I have a daughter who is very shy, and has a very soft voice. So soft that people often ask her to speak louder. I often ask her to speak louder because I know how important it is for women to have a voice in this world. Since she was a little girl she has been studying the piano, and she plays beautifully. Earlier this year, during the WOMEN IN TECH ® Global Summit Gala dinner, she played in front of a crowd of 500 people coming from all over the world. She was so concentrated, extremely calm and centered. At the end of those 4 minutes, I wasn't the only one shedding a tear. Her music had touched the hearts of all those present in the room. When she stood up and bowed to the applause, all my worries faded away. She had found her voice, and she had made herself heard. Happy 15th birthday my sweetheart. 🎂🎹🩷

WOMEN IN TECH ® Global a republié ceci
This one is personal. I’m thrilled to announce that the 5th WOMEN IN TECH ® Global Summit is coming to Cape Town, South Africa, 28-30 April 2026. After Paris and Osaka, we’ll be welcoming over 600 delegates from 65+ countries to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. And this edition is particularly close to my heart. South Africa is where I also hold nationality. It’s where I grew up as a teenager. It’s where I completed my university studies. And it’s where, for the very first time in my life, I cast a vote—in the historic 1994 elections that brought Nelson Mandela to the presidency. That moment shaped who I am. So it’s with a heart full of excitement and gratitude that I invite you to join me and our global delegation in Cape Town for three extraordinary days of sharing, learning, inspiration, and concrete action. I can’t wait to welcome you there. 🇿🇦Early bird tickets available until the end of November!! 🤩 https://lnkd.in/e5JbbFuS Melissa Slaymaker Hwalani Mabaso Alejandra Gamez Leyva Tamuna Kvintradze Wafeeqa Wahid Erno KISS Yuki Aizawa 愛澤友己 🇯🇵🇲🇾🇦🇺🇭🇰 Jessica Freundt Suraya Turk Nyla Beth Gawel Mayra Silva Teuta Sahatqija Zineb B. 💫 Women in Tech®Uzbekistan presents the second episode of the documentary film "The Women’s Path" 🎬 Women in Tech Uzbekistan, in partnership with Uzinfocom, officially premiered the second episode of the documentary film The Women’s Path (Ayol Yo‘li) on 7 November 2025 in #Tashkent. 🇺🇿 This new release continues the Women’s Path documentary series, which highlights the resilience, determination, and lived experiences of women in Uzbekistan — and shows how family support, mentorship, and community belief shape their journeys into technology. Episode Two follows the real stories of three women from regions of Uzbekistan, including such cities as Fergana, Nukus, and Navoi. Their experiences reflect the diversity and potential of women contributing to the country’s digital development, as well as the importance of encouragement from those around them — parents, partners, teachers, mentors, and friends.
