I love this game, so I'll give some pros and cons Pros: Levels are VERY fun to play. You get a lot of rewards for free, and if you simply play the game, you can unlock a lot and level fast. I love the different game modes and bosses as well. Cons: Red Star Rings and a couple of glitches through rounds. Even when you grind gameplay or get a pass, you don't get enough RSR to buy special skins (Most cost at least 700 RSR). Additionally, some rounds glitch and sometimes stop in the middle for me.

Ignore the negative reviews and try it for yourself. It's been a really fun game! It's not "pay to win", skins/score bonuses don't help you win, it boosts your overall grade for the stage. Which means nothing during matches. Yes, some skins are costly if you pay actual money, but there's so many events and achievements that get you the in game currency fast. Save your Red Star rings if you want them, no one is making you pay $40+ for a skin.

So far, the gameplay is simple yet fun. The level variety is nice and collecting characters is enjoyable. However, I have already hit the pay wall that limits how much I can truly collect. While I can still play and crawl through progress, the game throws ads and purchase reminders. I wish those were much less aggressive. That makes me worry about long term value when I hit the steeper paywall.
