Leading with purpose, excelling with people! 🏆 Dementia Singapore has been conferred with the TAA 2025 Pinnacle Award for their exceptional holistic people strategy. What sets Dementia Singapore apart is its care-centred mission that extends beyond the community it serves, to its employees. To support their aspirations and meaningful contributions to a dementia-inclusive society, it adopts a holistic approach, empowering staff through personalised career plans and flexible pathways. As Tracy Kwan, Chief HR Officer, says: "Inclusivity, Fairness, and Person-Centred care are key traits within our DSG family. We value every staff regardless of age, race, gender, etc, and work collaboratively to make Dementia Singapore a better place to work in. We care for the well-being of our staff who in turn will provide the highest standard of care to our clients." Navigating the new Workplace Fairness Act is key to fostering fair and harmonious workplaces. On 20 November, in partnership with Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP), we had the privilege of briefing close to 400 HR professionals on the new Workplace Fairness Act (WFA). TAFEP trainers walked participants through key aspects of the WFA and shared practical steps employers can take to review and strengthen their employment practices. The session concluded with a lively Q&A segment, where the HR participants sought clarification on various aspects of the WFA, from pre-employment to in-employment and end-employment decisions. Their thoughtful questions reflected the community's commitment to creating fair and progressive workplaces where everyone can thrive. Our sincere thanks to IHRP for the strong collaboration and to all participants who joined us. Your partnership and commitment play a vital role in strengthening Singapore's workplace fairness landscape. 👉 Join our next briefing on 10 December to learn more about the Workplace Fairness Act (WFA): https://bit.ly/48mRnIe #tafepsg #FairEmployment #WorkplaceFairness #HRCommunity
