In Keep, you can set up timed reminders for your notes.
Create a reminder
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Keep app
.
- Tap an existing or new note.
- At the top right, tap Remind me
.
- For "Remind me later: Your reminders are saved in Google Tasks" dialog: Your reminder is visible in Google Tasks, Google Calendar, and Keep.
- For "Remind me later: Saved in Google Reminders" dialog: Your reminder is only visible in Keep.
- To set up the date and time, under "Pick date & time," select the time, date, and recurrence.
- Tap Save.
Tips:
- If your reminder is saved in Google Tasks:
- You will get a notification on the reminder date and 24 hours after.
- If you have more than one of these apps installed, you only receive a notification based on this priority:
Edit or delete a task
Important: If your reminder is saved in Google Tasks, you can:
- Edit the date or time in Keep, Calendar, Tasks, or Gemini.
- Only edit the title of the task through Calendar, Tasks, or Gemini.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Keep app
.
- Tap an existing or new note.
- To edit a task, at the bottom of the note, tap Task time
.
- To delete a task, tap the task
Delete reminder
.
- When you delete a task in Calendar or Tasks, the note remains.
- If you want to delete a note with a task, you can delete the note and task or just the note.
- If you archive a note with a task, it has no effect on the task.
- To edit a task, at the bottom of the note, tap Task time
View upcoming reminders
- Open the Keep app
.
- At the top left of Keep, tap Menu
Reminders.
- You'll see all notes with upcoming reminders.
