We’re off to a good start in our April to September half year (H1) and are making real progress with our Levers for Growth strategy as we shift from channel-first to consumer-first. Shoe volumes are up 33%, and alongside our icons, we’ve brought great products like the Zebzag Laceless Boot and the 1460 Rain Boot to market, and we’ve kicked off exciting new partnerships in Latin America, UAE and the Philippines – and that’s just the start. There’s plenty still to do, but the growth opportunity ahead is exciting. A couple of weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of hosting a talk at Dr. Martens plc to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the incredible CoppaFeel! charity. Their modus operandi is to make as many young people aware of the benefits of early detection as possible. I was joined on stage by two of my colleagues who have also been affected, and it was an honour to share my story alongside Kiera Underwood and Santhi W.. Our wonderful Chief People Officer Bridget Jolliffe introduced us and many of our C Suite were in attendance as a show of solidarity. Tomorrow, a group of us will be undertaking a 10k walk around our central London stores to raise money for CoppaFeel! so I would be extremely grateful for any donations possible! Last week, we brought our EMEA store teams together for our Retail Conference - Driven By Passion, Powered By Consumer.   This annual moment is all about connection, clarity, and inspiration. It’s a chance for our store leaders to meet with the Global Leadership team and EMEA leadership team, connect with peers from across the region, and align on brand priorities ahead of peak.   Across three days, we focused on strategy, training, and consumer experience, making sure our teams feel prepared, equipped and energised for the season ahead. From South America to the UAE. Today we announce a new partnership with leading Middle East fashion partner Beside Group to enter the UAE for the first time. We are also partnering with Crosby to further expand our presence in Latin America, with our first mono-branded store in Chile opened this week, following the opening of a store by Crosby in Argentina in August. Both partnerships mark an important milestone in our next phase of global growth. Apprenticeship Class of 2025.   We’re proud to showcase the incredible final project pieces from our latest cohort of footwear apprentices at Dr. Martens plc. Each apprentice has designed and hand-crafted a bespoke pair of boots or shoes, taking their creation from initial concept all the way through to the finished product. These pieces are more than just footwear, they’re a testament to the skills, creativity, and dedication each apprentice has developed throughout their journey.
