How an Atlanta woman is helping teachers dress for success—for free

In 2023, retired educator Irma Levenson, looking to brighten the spirits of teachers in her community, organized a fashion show with classroom-appropriate outfits. Based on Blue Zones documentary, Azara Kitchen brings healthy fare to the Beltline

More than 15 years ago, Salih Ozgurdal and his business partner, orthopedic surgeon Raj Pandya, began brainstorming ideas for a Mediterranean restaurant in Atlanta. But they wanted something to make it stand out. When the Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones documentary series premiered in 2023, Ozgurdal and Pandya were inspired. They decided to open a Blue Zone-based restaurant along the Beltline. Named Azara Kitchen, it’s slated to start serving in the former Brasserie at Bazati and Estrella Rooftop spaces on November 21.

Psito brings fresh, fast-casual Greek to Summerhill

Among Summerhill’s newest openings, Psito (pronounced “SEE-tow”) brings a fresh Greek sensibility to the neighborhood, courtesy of Birmingham-based Pihakis Restaurant Group (which also owns Hero Doughnuts & Buns down the street). On Jones Street in Savannah's Historic District, the 1853 Margaret Dibble House stands as a testament to how interiors can honor the past while embracing the present. Designer Linn Gresham of Leah Bailey Interiors has orchestrated multiple transformations over the years for the homeowners. The residence is a clever combination of renovation, historic preservation, and new construction. “It’s a work in progress,” she says.
