“Families shouldn’t have to do this alone. We need to make it much easier to talk about caregiving earlier, to ask for support sooner, and to build systems that recognize the emotional, financial, and logistical weight families carry and respond with clarity, compassion, and coordination.” - Tatyana Zlotsky, CEO of A Place for Mom This piece from Dr. Joe Coughlin for Forbes highlights many of the realities we hear every day from families and caregivers. The data from our 2025 State of Caregiving and Senior Care Search Trends reports points to the same truth: caregiving touches nearly every household, yet most families still feel unprepared and overwhelmed. Our research shows how emotional strain, financial pressure, and late-stage planning shape the caregiving experience, and why earlier awareness and clearer guidance matter for seniors, families, and the partners who support them. We’re grateful to see these insights reflected in a broader conversation about aging and care. The more clearly we understand what families are facing, the better equipped we are to work together toward solutions that meet their needs. 📄 Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/ehW_Kubr #Forbes #StateOfCaregiving #SeniorCareSearchTrends #SeniorCare #Caregiving #APlaceForMom

In honor of National Family Caregivers Month, we set out to better understand what caregiving looks like today, the realities families face, and the strength it takes to care for those we love. Our 2025 State of Caregiving and Senior Care Search Trends reports highlight how millions of families across the U.S. are managing the emotional, financial, and logistical demands of caring for aging loved ones. Together, they show where families feel confident, where they struggle, and what can help families feel more supported. The State of Caregiving report explores the emotional and financial realities of caregiving, while the Senior Care Search Trends report reveals how families make care decisions, often with limited guidance and little time to plan. This year, we collaborated with Talkspace, the leading national online mental health provider, to deepen the State of Caregiving report’s mental health insights and better represent the emotional toll many caregivers experience. By better understanding caregiving, we can help families plan earlier and reduce the stress and burnout caregivers face. We’re working to ensure seniors receive the compassion and support they deserve. 📄 Read the 2025 State of Caregiving and Senior Care Search Trends reports below. #NationalFamilyCaregiverMonth #StateOfCaregiving2025 #SeniorCareSearchTrends #SeniorCare #Caregiving #APlaceForMom

A big thank-you to the California Assisted Living Association team for hosting such an engaging conference — and to Margaret Cabell and Beverly Grossman for representing our team and sharing their insight with partners across the senior living community. #CALA #CALA2025 #CALAConference #SeniorCareSupport #WhereLoveFindsItsPlace #APlaceForMom #SeniorLivingHelp

This Veterans Day, we honor those who have served and the families who stand beside them. More than one-third of the families we help move into care are veterans. We're proud to work alongside partners and communities that support veterans in finding care, connection, and comfort in every stage of life. #VeteransDay #SeniorCareSupport #APlaceForMom
