Inspiring the next generation of engineers➡️ Atlas’ Laura Woodard is known for her expertise as a seasoned water operator, but in her spare time, she also loves giving back to the community and mentoring students interested in pursuing a STEM career. She recently attended Women Can Do, an annual event hosted by the Vermont Works for Women to support women and youth along their career journeys. Joining colleagues from the Vermont Rural Water Association and E.J. Prescott, Laura helped lead a hands-on pipe fusing activity for participants that simulated what it might be like to work in the water or wastewater industry. “I love what I do, and I want to share my passion with other young women,” said Laura. “By sparking curiosity around engineering and STEM, we are helping to inspire the next generation of water operators. There are many amazing women doing this technical work, but the industry needs more people in this field. I find my work exciting and rewarding—knowing that at the end of the day, I’m helping provide a critical service for our community.” #AtlasATeam #Environmental #Engineering #STEM #Community

Turning dirt to improve Texas traffic 🚗 Texas Department of Transportation Austin crews broke ground on a $58.5 million project along the Texas 71 corridor near Bastrop, and Atlas was there to help turn the dirt. The project, which will alleviate congestion and accommodate the community’s growth, includes a new overpass at Tucker Hill Lane, one-way frontage roads, and expanded pedestrian and bicycle lanes. Atlas is providing construction engineering inspection (CEI) services for this project. This milestone not only marks another step forward in Atlas’ mission to deliver safe, more reliable roadways for our clients and their communities, but also supports TxDOT’s larger plan to improve the SH 71 East Corridor. Congratulations to TxDOT on this exciting milestone. 👉Learn more here: https://loom.ly/8ZLRi9g #Infrastructure #TxDOT #CentralTexas #MobilityMatters

282 welds. 730 feet in the air. Zero safety incidents. When Placer County needed a trusted partner to inspect California’s tallest bridge, they turned to Atlas. Our team delivered results that not only managed quality on the Foresthill Bridge but also helped shape Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) guidance on evaluating T-1 steel structures nationwide. Because every weld carries the weight of public trust. 👉 See how we’re raising the standard for infrastructure safety: https://loom.ly/eZKir2I
