    CNBC asked me: “How do you sell into a market that is nervous about increased AI spending?” Here’s my honest answer: It hasn’t been challenging at all. Customers aren’t nervous. Commentators are nervous. There is talk about the market cooling by people who aren’t in the market. Those of us in the market see an enormous and growing demand for AI. We at Cerebras have built a chip and system that is 15-20x faster than any other product in the market. Demand is hotter than ever - deals are moving fast and customers are pushing us to scale faster, not slower. It is an extraordinary time to be in AI hardware.     After a decade in chip design, I think the next revolution in computing is not about building smaller chips.. it's about wafers‼️ For half a century, the industry kept shrinking transistors, and now that path is reaching its physical limit. The reticle limit, roughly 800 mm², now defines the hard ceiling of how large a single chip can be printed. ▪️ As horizontal scaling stalled, chipmakers began stacking transistors vertically to extract more performance from the same footprint. → Vertical CFET transistors are expected to reach your devices after 2032. ▪️ Chiplets emerged as a practical workaround, connecting smaller specialized chips to scale performance with better cost efficiency. ▪️ The next big leap is wafer-on-wafer stacking, bonding entire wafers together to create layered computing structures (where logic, memory and exotic materials will co-exist together) 🚀 → The boldest leap yet is turning the entire wafer into one colossal chip, build by Cerebras and its wafer-scale architecture.
