Critical thinking is the difference between reacting and truly solving problems. 🤔 Here’s what it looks like at work: 1️⃣ Ask more questions. Don’t stop at the first answer; dig deeper. 2️⃣ Look for patterns. Spot trends in the data before jumping to a conclusion. 3️⃣ Challenge assumptions, especially your own. Critical thinkers find root causes and solutions, making them invaluable. ✨ Save this post and try one of these strategies in your next project.

L&D leaders, it’s time to evolve from service provider to strategic partner. Eighty-eight percent of tech leaders agree that planned AI investments will not succeed without increasing investments in training, yet 63% feel that their non-technical peers underestimate the resources needed to achieve AI-related objectives. Success in this moment requires L&D leaders to build trust with technical leadership and closely align learning programs with business goals. As Liz Bryson, Head of Digital Learning Institute at Sanofi shared during a recent panel on developing and scaling an AI-augmented workforce: “Building trust is all about time...Bringing curiosity, asking questions...and really getting down and understanding the technology that our technical teams are trying to get their arms around." In this month’s #LearningCurve, learn how leading organizations like Sanofi and Amazon Web Services (AWS) are building digital skills that drive AI transformation. Meet Lennard Liebig, an international business professional based in Brussels. He didn’t start learning online to earn a degree—he started to grow. With a background in Python, statistics, and analytics, Lennard wanted to keep building on what he knew. “I was looking for something stackable and long-term,” he says. That search led him to HEC Paris’ Online Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship Certificate on Coursera. “The courses were challenging but immediately relevant,” he shares. “They gave me a foundation I could build on—and even credits I could transfer into the full MSc program.” 💡 Collaboration became the heartbeat of his learning journey. Working with peers from London, Germany, and Peru, Lennard developed startup ideas, built MVPs, and pitched to real investors. “It was energizing to work with like-minded people. There’s even a chance to take those ideas further, beyond the course—that’s what makes this program special.” All while balancing a full-time job, a newborn daughter, and master’s-level coursework. “I studied early mornings and weekends. It’s demanding, but worth it. I feel proud of what I’ve accomplished—and excited about what’s next.” ✨ Curious where your curiosity could take you? Explore HEC Paris’ MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship on Coursera. Applications are open through December 1.
