  • What’s better than Friendsgiving with your Hillel family?! Nothing. ✡️💛 Jewish students at places like Hillel at FSU , Hillel at Miami University , Hillel at KSU, and Rutgers University Hillel came together to share a meal, build relationships, and strengthen Jewish connections on campus. Jewish community shows up in so many ways, and this week our Hillels showed just how strong those relationships can be!

  • For Springboard Alumni Committee co-chairs Kal Marcus and Khiya Connolly-Sisk, there’s no better way to give back to their community than by supporting Springboard Fellows and Jewish students across North America. 👏 After graduating from college, both joined the Springboard Fellowship — Hillel’s two-year program for recent graduates seeking a purposeful career in the Jewish world — where they learned how meaningful early-career connections can be. 📚 Now both have careers in the Jewish professional space, and they’re proud to serve current Springboards, knowing firsthand that “having access to multiple pillars of connection and engagement in the alumni network is transformative… not just now, but in the future." ✨ Learn how the Springboard Fellowship has helped shape their careers ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eqJAeC5R

  • Muhlenberg College Hillel is proudly giving back to the local community this Thanksgiving season. 🦃🤎 These Jewish students partnered with Jewish Family Services, in coordination with the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley, to bake pumpkin muffins, rake leaves for older adults, and assist with holiday meal deliveries. • What does it mean to be thankful for Hillel? 🤔 For Marquette University student Rebecca Brumer, it means finding Jewish joy and community on campus. She shared, "Before going to college, I wasn't really connected and comfortable with my Jewish identity. Now it's a huge part of my life! Thanks to Hillel, I've built strong relationships and connections that have created a small but mighty Jewish community at Marquette.” Through Hillel, she found a passion for creating inclusive Shabbat and holiday programming, including for this year’s Thanksgiving. 🦃✨ See what Rebecca is thankful for this season and how Hillel has shaped her college experience 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eYVyW9er

  • A full Thanksgiving meal should never be out of reach for students. After hearing directly from Jewish students, Queens Hillel learned just how many are feeling the financial strain of skyrocketing food costs. Holiday meals, especially, have begun to feel impossible for too many. So Queens Hillel stepped in! Thanks to generous community support, they expect to distribute dozens of kosher turkeys and complete Thanksgiving meal kits to students who might otherwise struggle to celebrate the holiday. We’re grateful for the tikkun olam that drives this work and for the partners and community members who help us ensure every student feels seen, supported, and able to celebrate.

  • Mazel tov to Rabbi Gershon Litt, Director of Hillel at William & Mary, on being named the 2025 Jeffrey R. Solomon Prize recipient! 🎉 Awarded by Birthright Israel Foundation and Birthright Israel, this honor recognizes exceptional Jewish communal professionals who make a lasting impact on young adults’ Jewish journeys. Rabbi Litt has spent nearly two decades doing exactly that -- from staffing 40+ Birthright trips to building meaningful, identity-shaping experiences for students on campus. His leadership, mentorship, and genuine care have transformed how students connect with Judaism and Israel long after their trips end. We’re incredibly proud to see his dedication recognized on a national stage. Thank you for all you do to inspire the next generation of Jewish leaders!

  • As we prepare for Thanksgiving, we’re reflecting on a powerful teaching from Pirkei Avot: “Without bread, there is no Torah; without Torah, there is no bread.” 🤎🍞 At Hunter Hillel, Executive Director Merav Fine Braun thinks about this lesson every day. Many Jewish students arrive on campus hungry or unsure where their next meal is coming from. In fact, food insecurity affects more than 40% of Jewish CUNY students, and it directly impacts their ability to learn, grow, and feel at home. Through a partnership with the Met Council, Hunter Hillel runs a digital kosher food pantry that provides fresh, nutritious kosher meals in a confidential and stigma-free way. And this Thanksgiving, thanks to that same partnership, the campus pantry will also offer kosher turkeys -- ensuring that Jewish students can celebrate the holiday without feeling different or having to ask for special accommodations. This work is about far more than food. It’s about dignity, belonging, and making sure every student feels seen and supported -- physically, emotionally, and spiritually. At Hunter Hillel, sustaining students in all these ways is at the heart of building a joyful, resilient Jewish community. Read more about this inspiring initiative here: https://lnkd.in/eeTWbNCN

  • This year, nearly 50 Jewish student leaders joined the Jewish Federations of North America General Assembly through Hillel International’s Leadership Passport initiative — granting them access to one of the largest Jewish communal gatherings. 🌎✨ Students connected with Jewish professionals, shared their perspectives during panels and programs, and gained skills and leadership tools that they’ll bring back to their campuses to help strengthen the Jewish student experience. 🌟 “Spending time with these incredible students at the GA these past few days reinforced that they’re not on a path to becoming leaders — they already are strong leaders,” said Adam Lehman, president and CEO of Hillel International.
