  • Thanksgiving is about slowing down, good food, your people, and of course, being thankful. But it’s also a day with a painful history for Indigenous communities, and that truth deserves space and respect. In our world, the day hits differently. Some of our PMs and Supers are waking up in hotel rooms, microwaving leftovers, FaceTiming family between punchlist items. Some are grabbing gas-station coffee and heading to site because the owner walk is tomorrow. And others finally get to be home - sharing warm meals, big hugs, and a breath they’ve earned ten times over. This industry asks a lot. Long days. Missed dinners. Early flights. Emotional weight. Behind every “on schedule” or “happy client” is real sacrifice. So today, we’re grateful for the people who make it all happen: The crews in the field. The PMs and Supers holding the line. The subs who show up rain or shine. The clients who trust us. And every teammate, past and present, who’s given a piece of themselves to this work. Every 4 a.m. flight. Every busted knuckle. Every quiet moment away from home. It all matters. You matter. Wherever you are today - on site, on the road, or finally home - we hope you feel seen, valued, and appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Hotel Rehabs.

  • We’ve got a soft spot for Residence Inn by Marriott International. So much so, we’ve renovated (or are in the middle of renovating) 14 of them. Here’s a fun one: Marriott didn’t actually create Residence Inn. They bought it- from Jack DeBoer, the guy who literally invented the extended stay concept. One person’s idea reshaped an entire category of hospitality. And decades later, brands are still evolving it - Marriott included, with a new Residence Inn design scheme on the way. For us, that means one thing: stay ahead of what’s next. So owners hit budgets, guests stay happy, and the brand vision gets delivered. That’s what we do. Huge shout to the team who carried this Residence Inn Arcadia project from start to finish. Absolute rockstars.

  • Sad Fact: Every construction company that says they’re perfect… isn’t. We know because we’ve faced every kind of problem you can imagine. The finished project looks great (and we’re proud of it), but the real work happens when things don’t go as planned. Even our most experienced team members have their “what now?” moments.   15 years later, we’re better at seeing the fires before they start, and handling them when they do.

  • We’ll never fully understand what veterans carry, the moments they’ve lived through, the transitions they’ve faced, or the weight that never fully lifts. But we sure respect it. We honor the discipline, the resilience, and the quiet strength that follows them long after service. At Hotel Rehabs, we see it in Matthew Carroll - how that same drive shows up in the long days, complex builds, and high-pressure projects that define construction. They’ve led in chaos, built under pressure, and carried others when things got tough. That kind of leadership translates. It strengthens teams. It builds trust. To every veteran: we may not know your path, but we’re better for what you’ve shared with the world.

  • Recently our Mexico City team recently joined arca tierra, a local organization preserving the ancient chinampa farming system through regenerative agriculture and education. From planting crops to restoring the canals, our volunteers spent the day getting their hands dirty-literally-to help protect one of the most iconic ecosystems in Mexico City. 🌿 For us at Hotel Rehabs, hospitality extends beyond hotels. It’s about showing up for the communities where we live and work. Big thanks to the Arca Tierra team for the inspiration, guidance, and the opportunity to help preserve the places, and people that feed communities and keep traditions alive.

  • Our team is made up of people who take on hard things every day. But beyond the challenges of construction, we know that life brings battles that test strength in ways work never could. Cancer is one of those battles, one of the hardest, most life-changing experiences a person can face. It changes everything: your perspective, your priorities, your sense of what truly matters. We’re deeply grateful for the teammates who’ve faced cancer with courage, hope, and grace. And for those whose stories continue to live on in our memories. Your strength and resilience remind us what it really means to keep going. You inspire us to face tough days with heart. To fight for what matters. To remember that resilience isn’t just something you have, it’s something you choose, every single day. To the fighters, the survivors, and those we hold in our hearts, this one’s for you. Thank you for showing us what true bravery looks like. 💗

  • Caught our VP petting puppies like he was working on a new project! Our Hotel Rehabs team had a great time at The Hospitality Show 2025 in Denver, catching up, sharing knowledge, meeting new faces, and learning what’s on the horizon for our industry. Between conversations about estimating, pre-construction, and renovation challenges, and a well-deserved stop at the puppy lounge (our VP clearly couldn’t resist 🐶). We were reminded how much this industry thrives on real connection. Big thanks to everyone who took the time to chat with us, and to the event organizers who made it all run so smoothly. We’re heading home recharged, inspired, and ready to keep doing what we love most: helping hotels to achieve their project goals and minimize the pain of construction #HospitalityShow2025

  • Proud to have partnered with Frontier Hospitality Group on this transformation at Holiday Inn Express - Moline Quad Cities Airport. Big shoutout to Jason C. Steward, Dan Huber, and Bart Baker for the leadership and teamwork that brought this to life!

Frontier Hospitality Group recently completed a $1.6 million renovation at our Holiday Inn Express - Moline Quad Cities Airport location. This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence in hospitality - enhancing the guest experience, supporting our incredible team members, and contributing to the vitality of the Quad Cities community. As we continue to grow, our focus remains the same: delivering warm, generous hospitality that guests both prefer and proudly refer. If your organization hosts clients, recruits talent, or welcomes partners to the Quad Cities, we’d love the opportunity to be your hotel of choice.

  • Denver! From Oct 26–28, our Hotel Rehabs team will be at The Hospitality Show 2025. Ready to network like it’s our job (because... it kinda is). You’ll catch Elise Dalleska, and Robin Carter walking the floor. Dropping knowledge on estimating, pre-construction, and how to survive construction without losing your sanity (we've got some experience with that). So don't be shy, say hi and enjoy the event. And if you’d like a more focused conversation, you can schedule a meeting with them ahead of time through the Hospitalily Show App, call, text or e mail. See you there 🤝
