In conjunction with 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗽 𝗗𝗮𝘆, the 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘂 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 partnered with the fishermen community of 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗶 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘂 to safeguard our coastlines and mangrove ecosystems. Together, we conducted a cleanup by both boat and shore, emphasizing the importance of preserving mangroves as a vital breeding nurseries for marine life and natural protectors of our coastlines. Our collective effort successfully removed 𝟭𝟭𝟯.𝟵 𝗸𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 from the water and mangrove areas: 🔴 Plastic – 68.3 kg 🔴 Rubber – 15.4 kg 🔴 Glass – 9.2 kg 🔴 Cans – 1.2 kg 🔴 Styrofoam – 6.8 kg 🔴 Mixed waste – 13 kg This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗖𝗦𝗥) and aligns with the 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, reinforcing our mission to Save the Planet. We extend our sincere gratitude to the fishermen community and villagers of Kampung Sungai Melayu for their collaboration. Their stewardship of the mangroves not only sustains local livelihoods but also ensures the survival of countless marine species that rely on these ecosystems as breeding and nursery grounds. Together, we are protecting biodiversity, strengthening community resilience, and contributing to a healthier planet for generations to come.

At #HardRockHotelDesaruCoast, we’re proud to support the kind of energy that goes beyond the workplace - 3 of our team members took the weekend to go further at the #DesaruHalfMarathon2025 securing ⭐4th & ⭐6th places in the 5KM race and ⭐21st place in the 21KM race. Impressive! With wellness in mind, we’re taking it up a notch this year through our Culture Club - Athletics Division, with more support for staff who want to train, compete, or just stay active together. Here’s to stronger bodies, sharper minds, and a team that shows up in more ways than one.

This Father’s Day, we turned up the heat-literally. Our rockstar dads from different departments stepped out of their usual routines for a fast-paced noodle cook-off. No sous chefs, no shortcuts-just raw talent, taste tests, and a whole lot of fun. From chopping to plating, they gave it their all and some even surprised us. The prize?
