📘Study Confirms Just Right Reader Accelerates Literacy Growth A new independent study from LXD Research shows what districts nationwide are already seeing firsthand: Just Right Reader’s Take-Everywhere Literacy Packs™ drive meaningful, measurable reading achievement. Using our Science of Reading–aligned decodables, students made significantly greater gains than peers using other decodables— in just five months. Here’s what the research found: - +71 DIBELS composite score gain (vs. +61 in the control group) - 46% of students achieved above or well-above average growth - ESSA Level 2: Moderate Evidence — meeting federal evidence-based standards - Cohen’s d = 0.39, representing more than three weeks of additional learning growth - Students practiced reading 7.5x more often at home than peers using other decodables Teachers and families saw the difference: ✅ 75% of teachers reported increased reading confidence ✅ 91% of parents said the books were easy to use ✅ 71% of caregivers used our multilingual QR-code phonics videos ✅ Families loved the convenient backpack delivery model When joyful reading meets the Science of Reading, achievement soars.
