  • Keswick is proud to be recognized as High Performing in the U.S. News & World Report 2026 Best Nursing Homes rankings for both Long-Term and Short-Stay! We are improving the experience of aging every day for those that live on our campus and in neighborhoods throughout Baltimore. Thank you to our amazing team members for making this possible!

  • Today and everyday we are working to improve the experience of aging, together. Ageism Awareness Day is the perfect opportunity to start conversations with friends and family about ageism, and to promote more positive, inclusive views of aging—inside and out. Only through this shared effort can we create greater fulfillment and freedom of choice in aging, for all. #Agingtogether #ChooseKeswick #AgeismAwarenessDay

Did you know that how we think about aging can affect how long we live? Older adults with more positive self-perceptions of aging live an average of 7.5 years longer than those with negative views. Optimism is important, and so is the way we talk about aging. Join us in talking about ageism as we approach Ageism Awareness Day this Thursday. Learn more and access resources at https://lnkd.in/g3rxg2CG #AgeismAwarenessDay #TalkAboutAgeism

    • Promotional graphic for Ageism Awareness Day featuring six older adults smiling outdoors under a tree. Text reads: “Older individuals with more positive self-perceptions of aging live 7.5 years longer than those with a less positive perception of aging. Higher optimism has been associated with a more positive self-perception of aging, which can lead to positive health consequences.” Includes the Ageism Awareness Day logo dated Oct. 9, 2025, and the American Society on Aging logo.
  • Happy Senior Citizens Day! At Keswick, we believe that you never stop growing, regardless of your age. Take Virginia, for example. Since starting personal training at Keswick's Wise & Well Center in April 2024, she has dramatically improved her range of motion, strength, and confidence. She’s progressed from bodyweight exercises to deadlifting 60 pounds — and recently returned from a solo trip to Italy, where she tackled walking tours with narrow staircases, uneven paths, and crowded streets. At 85, Virginia trains three times a week, working on strength, balance, and agility with equipment ranging from dumbbells and kettlebells to resistance bands and barbells. With every session, she’s not only getting stronger and more mobile, but she’s also smashing negative stereotypes of aging! #ChooseKeswick #SeniorCitizensDay #AgingTogether

  • There’s nothing like celebrating 90 days! At Keswick, we’re proud of the longevity so many of our team members have. While we love honoring milestones like 20 and 35 years, that very first one—90 days—is one of the most special.

  • In Maryland, more than 770,000 people provide unpaid care to an aging spouse, relative, friend, or neighbor — care that allows loved ones to stay in their homes and communities. With 12.9% of Marylanders aged 65+ living with Alzheimer’s or related dementias — the highest rate in the nation — this role has never been more important. Even actor Bradley Cooper has shared how caregiving shaped his life as he supported his father through a terminal illness. His story is a reminder that caregivers are everywhere — and they need support, too. Check out Caregiving tonight on MPT at 9pm ET. Don't forget to check out our Cognitive & Caregiver Resource Center at Keswick — a place where caregivers and families can find resources, information, and understanding. • Happy Juneteenth! "Keswick recognized Juneteenth as a company holiday beginning in 2022, and we maintain that commitment today. Juneteenth commemorates the day in 1865 when Major Gen. Gordon Granger arrived in the state of Texas to share the news of the official end of the Civil War... nearly two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. With that new knowledge came celebration. Juneteenth is also known as Jubilee Day. This may remind us that what is known, understood, and experienced in one community does not always extend to another community. Sometimes, within one place, some people have all the knowledge and resources to successfully navigate their path, their day, their life, while others do not. Shared knowledge is part of what lets us experience positive change, to feel joyous, together, and to simply feel like we belong. Keswick's core values are connection, inclusion, advocacy, and empathy, and our vision focuses on fulfillment and freedom of choice. This guides us in making positive change in our Keswick community, every day and through each encounter with one another. Being more aware of and present in our relationship with each person in our community, we create a deeper sense of belonging, for all." - Aileen McShea Tinney, CEO #ChooseKeswick #Juneteenth #AgingTogether

Keswick is proud to be the premier sponsor of Maryland Public Television’s screening of Matter of Mind: My Alzheimer’s. This powerful documentary is especially poignant as we reflect on the growing impact of dementia in Baltimore and across Maryland. It’s also a reminder of why we opened our new Cognitive and Caregiver Resource Center—to offer support, education, and early intervention for individuals and families navigating the challenges of dementia. Together, we’re improving the experience of aging. #choosekeswick #MPT
