At The Keystone Center, we know that small, intentional practices can create meaningful change. Whether you're navigating challenges or simply seeking balance this season, mindful breathing is a powerful tool to center your mind and body. This technique helps calm the nervous system, reduce stress and bring you back to the present moment. ✔️ Inhale slowly through your nose for four seconds. ✔️ Hold for four seconds. ✔️ Exhale gently for six seconds. ✔️ Repeat five to seven times. Take a moment today to slow down, breathe deeply and be kind to yourself.

Our CEO, Elizabeth Conlin, recently hosted a powerful town hall where staff came together to connect, collaborate and grow. The discussion focused on upcoming events, important facility updates and a deeper look at collaboration and mutuality, which are core principles of trauma-informed care. The team also explored ways to strengthen trauma-informed practices across all levels of care to ensure every interaction supports healing and empowerment. Additionally, the group discussed GET SMART, an important initiative focused on preventing sexual behaviors in treatment and promoting safety and accountability within our programs. By fostering supportive relationships and encouraging shared decision-making, we continue to create a healing environment where individuals feel seen, heard and empowered on their journey to wellness. Thank you to everyone who participated and continues to champion compassionate, client-centered care.
