NANA's brand new office building in Kiana is officially open! Our team enjoyed spending the day celebrating this incredible milestone with the community. Shareholder Relations Coordinator Shirelle Barr sent a photo of the sunset today and told us, "I have the best view from my new office." We look forward to seeing our shareholders use this bright and safe space for community gatherings, career exploration, and training opportunities. Quyanaq to the community of Kiana and our partners at Kuna Engineering and NANA Construction for helping us reach this incredible milestone.

In 2001, with the support of the NANA Board of Directors and Maniilaq Association, the Regional Elders Council hosted an Elders Conference in Kotzebue. This gathering gave our Elders the opportunity to share their wisdom and lessons passed down through generations. Today, we are honored to share some of the advice that was collected during that event.

Due to the voting process used at the Ambler nominations meeting in September, we cannot ensure that individual voters did not vote for one candidate multiple times. This process was corrected before all other nominations this year. Elders in Ambler raised concerns about the integrity of their election, and the NANA board directed staff to redo the nominations there to ensure a fair process. Please join us on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the school, starting at 5:00 p.m. All eligible shareholders who reside in Ambler are encouraged to attend and participate. There will be door prize drawings.
