IFC Entertainment Group has acquired U.S. distribution rights to Motor City, a film financed by Peachtree Group. The sale comes off an incredible dual festival showing at the prestigious Venice Film Festival and then Toronto International Film Festival. The crime-revenge thriller was produced by Joshua Harris managing partner and executive producer at Peachtree Group, and stars Alan Ritchson (Reacher), Shailene Woodly (Big Little Lies), Pablo Schreiber (Halo), and Ben Foster (Hell or High Water) and is expected to have a theatrical run in 2026. Unlike traditional film investors who take substantial creative risk hoping for the next blockbuster, Peachtree Group operates strictly as a senior lender.
