About us

Precoat Metals is North America’s leading independent coil coating supplier with over 3 million tons of available coating capacity across 15 coating lines in 13 locations. We are able to dedicate lines and technical support to very specific coating applications and market sectors, such as appliance, construction, transportation, container and consumer products. We offer additional in-house processing such as slitting, cut to length, embossing, film lamination, printing, shape correction and product innovation. And, Precoat Metals is well suited to accommodate multiple metal sourcing options and a wide range of metal substrates such as carbon steels, coated steels, aluminum and stainless steel. Nearly a half a century of coil coating processing has taught us that being a true partner with customers requires full commitment of resources and equipment to consistently supply. Which is why Precoat Metals has been a strategic coil coating supplier and partner to many of our customers for decades. Updates

  • Pre-painted metal is commonly used in garage doors due to its durability, low maintenance and aesthetic appeal. The protective coatings provide resistance to corrosion, UV rays and weathering. This ensures long-lasting performance even in harsh conditions.

  • Veterans Day Message from Evan Watts: As we observe Veterans Day this year, I want to take a moment to honor and recognize the incredible contributions of our veteran employees across Precoat Metals. Your service, sacrifice, and continued commitment to excellence are deeply appreciated. Last year, I shared a personal reflection on the seven Army Corps values – Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage (LDRSHIP) – and how they continue to shape my life beyond my time in the Army. These values aren’t just for the battlefield; they’re a compass for everyday living: • Loyalty guides my commitments to family and friends. • Duty reminds me of my responsibilities to my community. • Respect governs my interactions with everyone I encounter. • Selfless Service encourages me to contribute to something larger than myself. • Honor and Integrity dictate my ethical conduct in all situations. • And Personal Courage empowers me to face challenges head-on. These values, instilled during my time in the Army, remain the bedrock of my character and guide me toward a life of purpose and service. This year, I want to extend that reflection to all of you — veterans and civilians alike. Whether you’ve worn the uniform or support those who have, these values can inspire us all to lead with integrity, serve with heart, and work together with respect and courage. To my fellow veterans at Precoat Metals: thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your continued leadership. You bring strength, discipline, and honor to everything you do. To all Precoat employees: thank you for fostering a culture where these values thrive. Together, we build more than just metal — we build community, character, and a shared commitment to excellence. Happy Veterans Day. — Evan Watts Trainer / Development Coordinator Precoat Metals U.S. Army Chemical Corps Veteran
