Earlier this year at the Moms First Fatherhood Summit, Michael Sturmer and I saw a growing willingness among men to discuss fertility and family building. Our new Men’s Health research reflects the same trend: men see fertility as a shared responsibility, yet stigma, cost, and fear of diagnosis still deter many from seeking care. Male factors contribute to nearly half of infertility cases, yet only 46% of men with a fertility issue sought care.    Family building benefits that are accessible and inclusive make a meaningful difference in both the employee experience and health outcomes. Progyny, Inc.’s evidence-based solution is designed to support the needs of both men and women, inclusive of offering a reproductive urology network, diagnostic testing and personalized support for men.    I am excited to see the momentum grow as we continue to innovate and drive progress in improving the health and wellbeing of the employees/members we serve.  https://lnkd.in/gM4AyYN8 #MensHealth #Movember #Progynyproud

  • Think fertility is only a women’s issue? The conversation is evolving, and our latest survey shows that more men are acknowledging the important role they play. Our new national survey of over 1,000 U.S. men shows a clear shift: most men now see fertility as a shared responsibility, with 75% rejecting the idea that infertility is solely a women’s issue. Yet despite this awareness, many still hesitate to seek care. Fear of a serious diagnosis, financial stress, and embarrassment remain the leading barriers — even though two-thirds of men report having a fertility-related condition. These findings highlight significant opportunities. When employers and healthcare providers make fertility care accessible and inclusive of men from the start, it leads to stronger outcomes for everyone: partners, families, and workplaces alike. This #Movember, learn more about what men are thinking about fertility, and about the connection between reproductive health and overall health: https://lnkd.in/duk_TUHD #MensHealth #PartnerInCare #MaleFertility

At the Women in Work Summit this past Tuesday, I had the opportunity to moderate a panel on how policy rollbacks are shifting employer responsibility for #WomensHealth.   Two incredible leaders, Cara McNulty, DPA at Vibrant Emotional Health and Kaitlin Stephens at IBM, joined me for a candid conversation about what women in today’s workforce expect, and how employers are creating a positive impact.   Our biggest conversation topic: this isn’t just an equity issue. It’s a health issue. Women’s biological needs directly shape their ability to thrive, and employers play a critical role in filling the gaps when policy falls short.   Grateful to the Women in Work Summit for this platform and to everyone who joined the discussion.    #ProgynyProud

The Detroit Pistons are redefining what it means to support employees — on and off the court. Fertility care can be a powerful gateway to better overall health for men. As awareness of men’s health rises, we see stigma, fear, and financial barriers still prevent many from taking action. Providing comprehensive support helps close that gap. By offering Progyny, the Pistons recognize that the right benefits and resources can help men to seek the care they need care. • Men are ready to have real conversations and to play an equal role in the fertility journey. In the latest Man Up Podcast episode, our Progyny provider partner Dr. Alukal joins Dr. Kevin Chu and Dr. Justin Dubin to share firsthand insights on what’s driving this shift, why stigma still holds some men back from care, and how access to benefits like Progyny can help close the gap. Watch the clip and tune in to the full conversation to hear how men’s mindsets on fertility are evolving — and what it means for the future of #MensHealth: https://lnkd.in/eiGFaq4w #MaleFertility #Movember

While it occurs less often these days, we still find ourselves in discussions with employers about the business case of women's health. The truth is that lack of investment doesn't make cost disappear - they show up somewhere else. In higher claims. In avoidable complications. In absenteeism, burnout, and turnover that quietly erodes productivity. For self-insured employers, these hidden cost drivers add up quickly. And they’re exactly why comprehensive women’s health benefits shouldn’t be treated as “extras”. They are one of the smartest, most strategic investments a company can make. At Progyny, Inc., we see every day that when you design benefits people actually understand and use, you get better business results. Full stop. We broke down how HR and benefits leaders can make that case internally, and why women’s health - when done right - consistently delivers value on both the human and financial sides of the ledger. Worth the read for anyone shaping benefits strategy this cycle: https://lnkd.in/eG28UwPP #WomensHealth #FamilyBuilding #PartnerInCare
