About us

The Salvation Army of Miami County provides emergency services to residents of Miami County by helping individuals prevent disconnection of utilities and evictions, provides a local food pantry operated by a great team of volunteers, helps families provide Christmas gifts for their children, and are present to offer assistance in time of natural disasters. The funding for these programs come from income provided during the Red Kettle Campaign where volunteers ring tine bell to collect change at our local stores. (Kroger, Family Farm & Home) and counter kettles during the Christmas season. we receive funding from our local United Way, Community Foundation, Miami County Correctional Institute, individual donors and grants. Donations of food are always welcome and appreciated. If you would like more information on joining our team of volunteers call (765-473-5498 or 765-327-3986) or stop by our location at 1785 S ST RD 19 during operating hours of 8:30-11:00, Monday - Thursday.
