Talbots began from a singular & personal vision, inspired by a joy of discovery and fueled by a commitment to timeless and timely fashion, extraordinary quality and memorable service. In 1947, Rudy and Nancy Talbot, two passionate and entrepreneurial New Englanders, put an ad in The New Yorker. And what started out as 3000 fliers ultimately became a catalog with a cult following—treasured for its spirited voice and modern classic product. Soon they moved into an historic Hingham, Massachusetts, house where they painted the front door a welcoming red to signal that here was an oasis of inspiration and hospitality. Through the decades, Talbots has expanded beyond New England and developed a devoted following of smart shoppers who rely on gracious service, great quality, timeless pieces—and Talbots famous "surprise and delight." Today Talbots is a dynamic combination of heritage and innovation, translating the original Talbots DNA for today's culture. Katie Lee Biegel hosted Haven Well Within’s Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, November 8th at Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, NY. Haven Well Within, the thoughtfully curated lifestyle brand designed to support women’s wellbeing, celebrated the grand opening of its first permanent retail store – a serene 1,774-square foot space that embodies the brand’s mission to help women create a haven at home – a place to unwind, recharge and nurture every part of themselves. Katie Lee Biegel welcomed guests for an uplifting afternoon featuring organic wine tastings from her brand, Kind of Wild Wines, artisanal charcuterie cups, custom candle engraving, and shopping the latest collection of cozy cashmere, organic cotton knits, washable silk sleepwear, and mindful lifestyle essentials. Attendees included wellness and lifestyle influencers, along with wellness expert and entrepreneur Dria Murphy, founder of by dria, who joined in celebrating the opening of the brand's first retail store. “I am a homebody through and through. Home is where I recharge, and it is also where I feel the most inspired and connected. I've always believed that when you feel good at home, it carries into everything else you do. Haven Well Within really captures that- I love that the brand curates everything you need at home to slow down, feel grounded, and be comfortable yet chic.
