We’re grateful to The New York Times Marketing Team for once again partnering with us to support vulnerable New Yorkers this holiday season. Their generous donation of toys will bring joy and relief to the children and families served by The Partnership To End Homelessness. This season, need is spiraling. The holidays often bring heightened financial and emotional stress for families struggling to afford rent and other essentials. Now, thanks to the New York Times Marketing Team, children who otherwise might not have received gifts will have toys and extra moments of joy.

Thank you to our Young Professionals for organizing such an incredible Pickleball Tournament! We are grateful for all your energy and hard work that made this event such a success.
Thank you to all who contributed to our second annual Pickle for The Partnership tournament on Sunday! Very excited to announce that we raised ~$3,000 for The Partnership, almost 1.5x last year’s tournament donations. We hosted ~50 players for a beautiful morning of pickleball in Brooklyn. All funds went directly to The Partnership To End Homelessness, which seeks to end homelessness in NYC by preventing it. The average rental arrears per household is $3,500, so we are honored that our contributions can keep a family in their home. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to lead this tournament and would like to thank the rest of the team who made this day a success! Thank you to Oliver Wilson, who is also on the Athletic Committee and was instrumental to the success of this tournament – and shoutout to some other Athletic Committee and community members for their significant contributions: Leah Zeuss, Aaron Simon, Gerard Vicente, Stephanie Lundstrom-Placencia, Carlos J. Polanco, and Austen Mazenko. Please find attached some photos and use this link (https://lnkd.in/ehn2nxv3) to donate to my personal fundraiser. Looking forward to another legendary tournament next year – thank you all for your support!

Linda is feeling particularly energized this fall because she knows that at the end of every day a safe home awaits the family. Last year was different when she spent every day terrified that they were going to lose that home. Read how you saved Linda, Isa, Sami and Joel’s home: https://bit.ly/48JPR4J

As we commemorate Pride 2025, we are confronted by the increasing risk of homelessness to LGBTQIA+ New Yorkers, especially trans and queer people of color and immigrants. Federal policies threatening the well-being and housing security of our trans and immigrant neighbors in tandem with spiraling housing costs is driving unprecedented need. At the same time, government policies and budgets threaten to prevent organizations like ours from continuing to provide services to some of our LGBTQIA+ clients. We know that you know a safe home is a foundational need and right in everyone’s life. If you can, stand up with us again this Pride and protect the homes of our LGBTQIA+ neighbors.
