Wishing everyone a happy and healthy Thanksgiving! We’re grateful for our colleagues, partners, and community today and every day.

Yesterday, Team Tredway, together with New York Football Giants’ Josh Ezeudu, helped spread Thanksgiving cheer by distributing more than 500 turkeys, pernils, and bags of fresh produce to over 550 families at our Sea Park community in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Beyond Sea Park, Tredway also provided an additional 250 turkeys to residents across our other tri-state properties, extending the impact of our Thanksgiving initiative even further. This effort was made possible through our partnership with City Harvest, which supplied more than 7,000 pounds of fresh produce. As New York City’s largest food rescue organization, City Harvest will recover over 86 million pounds of high-quality food this year and deliver it—free of charge—to food pantries and soup kitchens across all five boroughs, ensuring that New Yorkers have access to the nourishment they need to thrive. We are proud to collaborate with such a purpose-driven organization and grateful for the opportunity to bring meaningful support directly to our residents and neighbors. This past Wednesday, we gathered with residents and community partners to celebrate the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 80 Greene Avenue in Fort Greene, Brooklyn — a deeply meaningful milestone for Tredway and all involved. This project preserved 97 affordable homes for seniors and brought long-overdue, thoughtful upgrades to a building that so many have called home for decades. From new kitchens and modernized bathrooms to brighter hallways and improved safety features, these updates reflect our belief that everyone deserves to live with dignity, comfort, and security. But our work does not stop there. We will begin our second phase to introduce new support services designed to help seniors live comfortably and independently, such as a resident services coordinator, a gym, food programs, and on-site health care. At Tredway, our mission is to preserve and create high-quality, affordable housing that stands the test of time. This work is only possible through strong partnerships, and we’re incredibly grateful to Council Member Crystal Hudson, New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development their support and collaboration throughout this project.   We’re proud to be working with the City of Peekskill to reinvest in 901 Main Street — restoring the building’s exterior, removing the long-standing scaffolding that has surrounded the property for years and beautifying the courtyard and retail thoroughfare. In addition to the physical improvements, Tredway is committed to preserving affordable senior housing, enhancing resident services, upgrading security and supporting the area's small businesses. This effort reflects Tredway’s commitment to safeguarding affordability while improving the quality of life for residents and contributing to the continued revitalization of downtown Peekskill. This year’s HBCU New York Football Classic was more than just a game—it was an opportunity to rally alongside commercial real estate leaders in support of the Morehouse Real Estate Institute. Together, we’re working to expand pathways for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities to pursue careers in real estate and related fields. At Tredway, we believe the built environment plays a role not only in shaping cities but also in building opportunity.
