Can you believe it has been a year since we got lululemon at University Book Store? It has been an enormous success, and we couldn't have done it without students like Angelina.
Lights, camera, action... wearing lululemon! 📸 This past February, I had the opportunity to model for the exciting launch of the new lululemon collection at the University Book Store! 👟 It was incredible to witness the immense buzz surrounding the day of the launch, with customers eagerly lining up down the street before the store opened at 8am. It was also so thrilling to see my face posted on the digital market materials for the anticipation of the launch and seeing myself on posters at the store! #lululemon #model #uw

Excited to announce that the Dubs Collection has launched, exclusively available at University Book Store! Conceived by UW Trademarks & Licensing, designed by Dubs’ trainer and handlers (pictured with Dubs) with artwork developed by the U Book Store, this was a total collaborative effort which raises funds for Dubs through a heightened royalty. As the marketing copy explains: “Your purchase allows Dubs to connect with more Husky fans and spread pawsitive vibes for the University of Washington.”

We love working with students and are looking forward to future pop-ups!
"The Real Business World Is Much Tougher Than We Thought" Five young entrepreneurs - Ayami Kojima, Ethan Fong, Mihir Pathak, Linyun Zhu, and Quinton Porter met in the ENTRE472 class at the UW Foster School of Business. With excitement and ambition, we set out to explore the real business world through a single course. Confident in our choice, we picked what we believed would be a straightforward project: designing and selling sweatshirts. However, the reality turned out to be far more challenging than we had imagined. To avoid copyright issues with the University of Washington, we partnered with BrandPrice, the university's official supplier. What we initially assumed would be a simple transaction—place an order, receive the product—quickly became a marathon of communication. The COO exchanged 200+ emails with BrandPrice before we finally completed the production process. At the same time, we believed pricing should match the range most preferred by consumers. Yet, after debating until 2 a.m., we still couldn’t find a perfect combination that satisfied both our target price range and profitability goals. In the end, we had to face reality and raise our prices... It’s a long story—with enough funny moments and setbacks to talk about for days—but we did it! A huge thank you to Professor Valerie Trask, TA Tony Huang, Supervisor Bo Goodrich, and the Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship for their continuous encouragement and guidance. We’re thrilled to announce that this week, from February 21 to 23, we will be hosting a pop-up shop at the UW Bookstore—marking the first-ever student collaboration with the UW Bookstore! Thank you, Bookstore, for giving us this incredible opportunity! AVEnture is finally kicking off their adventure on The Ave! Come support us and check out our hard-earned project!
