Talent Partner @ Viva - Remote work opportunities

Challenge accepted: bringing AI from theory into practice. Viva - Executive Assistants recently launched an AI challenge that pushed us to shift from experimenters into builders. One of the most powerful parts? Getting together with teammates to share insights, trade takeaways, and keep each other moving forward. Viva even backed this with a team meal budget. That made it possible for us to connect over food while diving into AI. It’s a small detail, but it says a lot: community and learning aren’t just encouraged here, they’re supported. I had the chance to team up with Dharma Davila, Marisol Quintana Rangel, and Özlem Saborío. We compared notes, explored new ideas, and even built something practical together: a custom GPT designed to support new hires on their first day. The real win wasn’t just finishing the challenge. It was realizing how much faster and deeper we learn when we do it together. For anyone passionate about AI, this was a reminder: the best breakthroughs don’t happen in isolation. They happen in community. We’re looking for people who want to be part of that kind of environment. If this resonates, or if you know someone who would thrive here, I’d love for you to apply or share this with them. #remotework #viva #artificialintelligence #AI

  • When your calendar, inbox and all-hands look seamless it’s not luck. It’s an exceptional EA. In our latest interview, Rana J., Sr. EA to the CEO at Miro shares how her role isn’t just about supporting a founder it’s about protecting strategic time, filtering distractions, and enabling clarity at the top. Key takeaways for tech execs: 1. Your EA is your gatekeeper and amplifier: Rana works to make sure only the highest-value requests reach the CEO. 2. Your EA thinks-and-acts like you: The best assistants learn how you decide, what you prioritize, and can step in pre-emptively. 3. A strong EA multiplies your capacity: They’re not just scheduling meetings, they’re creating space for you to lead. As Rana puts it: “A strong EA doesn’t just make life easier; they multiply an executive’s capacity to lead effectively.” Find the full interview in the comments.

  • Executives don’t need more information, they need better decision support. In our latest interview, Jeremy Burrows, Sr EA to the CEO of Capacity and author of The Leader Assistant, shares how top EAs act as decision support partners, not just task managers. After two decades working alongside leaders and training thousands of EAs, Jeremy’s message is clear: 1. Decision support is the new leverage. The best EAs don’t just manage tasks, they filter noise, align priorities, and surface the right data at the right time. 2. AI won’t replace great EAs, it will amplify them. As automation handles the admin, strategic and emotionally intelligent EAs become even more valuable. 3. Underutilization is the real risk. When leaders treat EAs as “helpers” instead of thought partners, they lose a critical layer of judgment and clarity. As Jeremy puts it: “The EA of the future will look less like an assistant and more like a leader.” Find the full interview in the comments.

Executive Assistant at Viva - Executive Assistants

Today, I realized how grateful I am to have lunch at home — no traffic, no rush, no road rage. Just a quiet moment to recharge. But what makes it even more meaningful is knowing this freedom is part of something bigger. At Viva, flexibility isn’t just a perk — it’s how we empower women across Latin America to do their best work while supporting high-performing executives worldwide. Working remotely has taught me that productivity and peace can coexist. It’s not about “escaping the office.” It’s about creating space to think critically, communicate boldly, and deliver real impact. Curious — what’s one small moment in your remote workday that reminds you why you do what you do?

    Executive Assistant at Viva Talent

💭 If I were job hunting again… When I was looking for a new job before joining Viva - Executive Assistants, my main goal was simple: to find stability, growth, and a healthier environment. But after going through that process, I’ve realized something important — if I were job hunting again, I wouldn’t focus only on finding the job that pays the most. I’d look for the one that makes me feel valued, that gives me real growth opportunities, and that’s built on a healthy, supportive culture. That’s exactly what I found at VIVA. It’s a place where you’re seen not just as an employee, but as a person — where your ideas are heard, and your work is appreciated. So, if you’re currently job hunting and looking for a remote position that offers all that (and more), take this as your sign. VIVA is always looking for talented professionals with excellent English (C1+), trainers, teachers, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset to join our team of Executive Assistants. If that sounds like you — or someone you know — feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to share more. 💬 #RemoteWork #ExecutiveAssistant #CareerGrowth #HealthyCulture #WorkplaceWellbeing #VIVA #VAMOSVIVA #SOMOSVIVA

I grew up watching these two teachers carry 30 notebooks home every night. Both of my parents are educators. As kids, my siblings and I would rush in after school hoping to play, and they would be there helping us with homework while a stack of student notebooks waited on the table. Preparation never stopped. Lessons to plan. Assignments to grade. Adjustments for ~30 different learning needs. I learned early that teaching is noble work, and that work-life balance is not always part of the package. Today, as Head of People at Viva - Executive Assistants, I see a path that many educators in LATAM have never been shown. Moving from the classroom into executive operations as an EA is not an obvious leap, but it is one of the most natural transitions I have seen. The core strengths are already there. Planning and organization. Anticipating needs. Clear communication in English. Empathy and patience. Reading the room and building trust. The skills you built in the classroom are executive caliber. If you taught English or worked in bilingual settings, you bring the language skills plus the relationship skills that top executives value. I sometimes wonder what might have changed if paths like this had been open earlier. Would my mom have had more evenings with us? I do not know. I do know that today there are remote opportunities where service and impact remain at the center, and where the day has a clearer end. You support a leader’s goals, you run projects, you keep teams moving, and you can close your laptop when the workday is done. If you are an educator in LATAM who has lived or studied in the US, and you are exploring a pivot into EA or executive operations, send me a DM. I am happy to share my story and refer strong candidates who want meaningful work with real boundaries. If someone comes to mind, feel free to pass this along. • What if your biggest unlock as a leader isn’t another strategy session but a stronger partnership with your executive assistant? In our latest interview, Kiara Hancock, EA to the CPO at Slack, shares how great EAs don’t just manage calendars, they design systems that make leadership look effortless. After 25 years supporting leaders at Slack, Amazon, and T-Mobile, Kiara has refined the backstage of leadership. Her takeaways for executives: 1. Trust unlocks strategy: Give your EA access to the why, not just the what. 2. Emotional intelligence is the real edge: No AI can replace human intuition. 3. Remote EAs can deliver at the highest level: Visibility and proactive systems beat proximity every time. As Kiara puts it: “My role is about turning complexity into clarity, and chaos into momentum.” Find the full interview in the comments.

  • 100% of our team now uses AI in their daily work at the Builder level. It goes beyond basic prompting to reimagining workflows through automation. How do you get an entire company to actually adopt AI and use it every day? At Viva, we started small. One Zapier automation per person. That simple idea became something bigger: a culture where experimentation and learning are part of everyday work. When an executive assistant learns to automate a process, that skill spreads to managers, teams, and entire departments. We shared this framework at ZapConnect, where our own Dania Maduro and Arantxa Godinez were invited to speak (the video below was used as an invitation for that session back in Sept.) During the event, our Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Adnan Khan, received Zapier's AI Transformation Leader of the Year award for leading this company-wide initiative. We put our full framework and learnings together in a blog so other companies can see what worked for us.
