Earlier this week, team members at our Lake Forest headquarters partnered up with the American Red Cross for a blood drive! Thanks to #TeamGrainger, more than 38 volunteers participated, which the American Red Cross estimates will impact 144 lives. For 20+ years, Grainger and the American Red Cross have had a long-standing community partnership, enabling team members across the country to show up in our communities when they need us.

Last week, team members at Grainger’s Lake Forest headquarters gathered for a special Veterans Day celebration: a welcome home event for Grainger team members, Gina Pena and Brandon Thomas. During the event, team members honored all those who’ve served and welcomed Gina and Brandon back from their deployments. Commemoration of Veterans Day continued across Grainger locations throughout the country with gatherings among our team members for events like honorary breakfasts and flag exchange ceremonies. We are also proud to announce that we have once again been named a Best for Vets employer by Military Times!
