Making a difference for physicians and healthcare administrators nationwide.
About us
ZPAC is comprised of small coalitions, clients, and industry peers who work closely with us to impact public policy advocacy on proposed regulation and legislation that directly impact the business of healthcare providers at the local, state, and federal levels. We want to make a difference in the business of healthcare providers, by providing specific guidance and education to physicians while also assisting them with charting congressional and regulatory strategies. In doing so we are able to mobilize and impact policy while driving legislative agendas through research and advocacy.

Prior authorization already harms patients. According to an #AMA survey, 1 in 3 physicians reported a serious adverse event for a patient due to prior authorization—hospitalizations, life-threatening events, and worse. Expanding this system to traditional #Medicare through #WISeR will compound delays, denials, and paperwork when patients need timely, physician-led care. 📣 Make your voice heard: Urge your members of Congress to cosponsor and support H.R. 5940 to keep decisions in the exam room, not the algorithm: https://lnkd.in/gQ9_hfib

Beginning Jan. 1, 2026, the #WISeR Model would add #AI-driven prior authorization to traditional #Medicare in 6 states—essentially outsourcing access decisions to algorithms and creating new barriers to care. This will: ❌ Delay treatment 📝 Increase administrative burden ❗Put patients at risk #Congress can stop it by passing the Seniors Deserve SMARTER Care Act (H.R. 5940). 📣 Take action: Tell your members of Congress to cosponsor and support H.R. 5940 to protect timely, physician-led care: https://lnkd.in/gQ9_hfib
