Key Responsibilities
• Compound sterile preparations in full compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, and cGMP
• Maintain aseptic technique, gowning, and documentation practices
• Review and verify prescriptions and batch records for accuracy
• Perform final product verification and batch release (as authorized)
• Lead or mentor pharmacy technicians in sterile operations
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring full regulatory readiness
Qualifications
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy (accredited institution)
• Active California Pharmacist License (multi-state license a plus)
• Minimum 2 years of USP <797> sterile compounding experience (503A, 503B, or hospital)
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, gowning, and cleanroom workflow
• Familiarity with USP <800> and cGMP practices
• Exceptional documentation accuracy and quality focus
