Apply a profile design check set
- [Instructor] As we saw with alignments, design check sets can be used to make sure that you're meeting design requirements as you work. Let's see how design check sets work for profiles. The first thing I want to do is turn on design check sets for my profile. So I'll click the blue Jordan Court FGCL profile, and go up here to Profile Properties. Notice that there is a Design Criteria tab, and I could check the box to use criteria-based design. I have two choices here, design criteria file, which we'll cover in the next video, or a design check set, which is what we want to use for this example. I'll choose that option and select the subdivision design check set. Let's take a look inside to see what's going on. I'll click the Edit button and you can see that we have two design checks that are being applied. One is actually named, tangent grade must be between 0.5% and 5%. That might seem like a really long name, but it really helps out as you'll see later on in the tool tip. And…
