- [Instructor] As you saw in the previous video, parcel styles can be used to control the appearance of parcel segments. But what if adjacent parcels share common segments, how do you determine which style is used? The answer is in parcel style display order. Let's see how it works. If we zoom into lot 23, we see the problem. We've got this certain style, called lot, that is being applied to all of the segments on lot 23. But we also have these segments representing the right of way for the roads. What we'd like to do is favor the right of way line. We want that to shine through, so to speak. We want that to be the dominant style, so that anytime the styles clash or end up on the same segment, the right of way style wins. So how do we do that? Well, if we come over here to prospector, expand sites, and then our site, which is lot layout, right click parcels, and go to properties, we see on the composition tab there's a section called parcel style display order.
