- We've gone through an entire chapter to make sure you have the right foundation to begin taking actions in AWS related to Identity and Access Management. Now it's time to spend some time doing stuff with IAM. So in this chapter and in this episode, we're going to begin by creating user accounts. And see the process we go through to actually create these accounts so they can be used by AWS users. Now remember, the best practice is that you do not use your actual root user account on a regular basis for administration. So one of the first things you'll usually do is create an admin account that gives you the ability to work within AWS, including creating other identity and access management user accounts.
