- [Instructor] Having too many views in your Revit model can cause a lot of performance issues. Certain types of views in particular can be cumbersome to Revit to calculate. These are usually 3D views that cover a large perspective, and it's particularly tough to calculate views that are set to a fine detail level. So this view that we're looking at right now is a good example of that. This is a perspective view that covers our entire project and we're set to a fine detail level. So right now that's blurred out on the bottom right here, our detail level, but it's controlled by our view template right here. So if I click on this guy, you can see that our detail level is set to fine. And obviously there's some instances where we want views like this. This is incorporated into our construction document and we need this higher level of detail. The thing about these views though is that everything, whether or not you can see it, is being calculated.
