Ethics is how you show up at work every day
- Ethical behavior is a requirement for good standing in business and it's mandatory for continued employment. Of concern, however, is that ethical behavior is not always black and white, nor is it always easy. Conflicts of interest, contradictory requirements or processes, fear of failure and business pressures can all affect ethical behavior. Hi, I'm Bob McGannon, and in my 35-year long career, I have learned that ethics are you. It's not simply for an academic classroom. Ethics is how you show up at work every day. That's the purpose of this course. Through discussion and looking in on employee scenarios, we'll examine the most common items that lead to ethics issues and prepare ourselves, so we can avoid them.
