Create and manage restore points

- [Instructor] System Restore has been part of Windows since Windows ME. It automatically takes snapshots of the operating system and its components including the registry without input from you. That is, as long as System Restore is enabled. The snapshots it saves are called restore points. If there ever comes a time when the computer begins to perform poorly, you can use these restore points to recover the system to a time it was stable. You can get to system properties as shown here by typing system restore in a search bar and clicking create a restore point in the results. And here it is. It's important to note that system restore only restores the operating system and the registry. It will not make any changes to files, pictures, music, downloads, videos, and other personal data.
