- [Presenter] One of the biggest risks in digital transformation is underestimating the time and money required to see it through. I think there's a real tendency for this to happen, and many companies fall into this trap, leading to partially completed transformations that leave processes in limbo, frustrate employees, and diminish credibility. To prevent this, it's critical to evaluate what lies ahead and verify that your organization is genuinely prepared to make the commitment necessary for a successful transformation. If transformation stalls midway due to lack of funding or lost interest, the effects can be deeply disruptive. Changes to workflows in anticipation of new systems may have to be reverted, causing frustration and resistance to future initiatives. Partially installed systems rarely work as intended, and may disrupt existing operations.
