- So how do we work out what our purpose is? Firstly, I want you to start by reflecting on five peak experiences in your life. What have been five significant moments? These don't necessarily all have to be positive, just five meaningful experiences. Once you've written them down, look over these peak moments. What do your peak moments tell you about what kind of things you find purposeful? And jot down any themes. Now I want you to consider a few questions and jot down the answers to them. What do you want there to be more of or less of in the world because you existed? What would you proudly stand up and argue about in public? What makes you angry? If you could change something about the world, what would it be? How will you measure the success of your life? Having reflected on these questions, what themes do you notice?
