- [Narrator] We're looking at a worksheet 2 that has a number of different border effects. 3 Undoubtedly, in a real life scenario, 4 this would not be appropriate, 5 but we're displaying a capability in Excel, 6 primarily gotten to by way of the home tab. 7 In the font group, there's a drop arrow here, 8 and all different kinds of border selections, 9 some of which you can make from the immediate dropdown menu 10 and some of which you can make by going all the way 11 to the bottom and choosing more borders. 12 And that leads us into a dialogue box with tons of choices. 13 We'll come back and take a look at some of those. 14 You can also, if you're in a hurry, 15 want a simple thin border, apply a border, 16 and we see a border around these cells here, 17 simply enter with the keystroke shortcut 18 control shift seven. 19 Select the data first.
