- The heart of Scrum is the idea that amazing things happen if you have a group of people with the right skills and point them at a problem worth solving. The Scrum team is the fundamental unit of delivery in Scrum. It consists of 10 or fewer people to ensure the cost of coordination and collaboration is not too high. You've just learned about accountability, right? So the Scrum team is accountable for creating a valuable increment every sprint.
