Compose and draft a message
- [Instructor] To create a new message, click the Compose button, and you get there by hovering your mouse over Mail and clicking Compose. In fact, I'm going to click on these three horizontal lines to keep this out. I'll click Compose and the New Message dialogue appears. If you prefer to have it in the middle of the screen, on the top right-hand side, click these two diagonal arrows. It's going to open up a much larger version right in the middle. Just for consistency, however, I'm going to click these arrows again to bring it back the way it was. Let's start by addressing our email. In the To field, you can type out the name or the email address of the recipient. In fact, if it's somebody that you correspond with frequently, you may notice that you only need a few characters of the name or email address and Gmail is smart enough to guess who you're trying to correspond with based on other messages in your inbox.
