- [Instructor] As we get started thinking about scaling Hadoop clusters, I want to address the situation with legacy clusters that are on premise and Google has some really good guidance and all the different cloud vendors do, I just happen to be working with Google for convenience in this course. So if you're using Amazon, go to the EMR guidance. So from the Cloud Architecture Center, there is guidance around migrating on-premise Hadoop to Google Cloud. And it is stuff that I have used with customers that I wanted to share with you here because it's very detailed and it helps you in planning either bursting to the cloud which is a case for some of my customers where they have an existing on-prem Hadoop cluster and they want to burst some of their workload up to the cloud and then eventually fully migrate or migrating to the cloud.
