Using the Follow Me tool

Using the Follow Me tool

- [Instructor] Another way to create geometry or modify it is to use the Follow Me tool. Now this uses a path to move a shape through space and that can either create or remove geometry. So let's start off by creating some geometry. I'm going to start off with my ARC tools. I'm going to use my Basic Arc tool, and I'm going to drag out a line along red, left-click and then snap that to green so I have a 90 degree angle. So we basically just have a curve. Now what Follow Me can do is take a shape, and run it along that path. So for the shape, let's do something really simple. Let's just take a basic circle, and I want to snap this to the end of that. So I'm going to go ahead and snap to endpoint, and then I'm going to hit the right arrow on the keyboard to make sure that I'm snapping to green because I want that perpendicular to that path as well. So I want it snapped to the end of the path, as well as…
