- [Instructor] What's the cheapest ad space on LinkedIn? It's the right hand rail ads. Spotlight and text ads are the ad types that display here on desktop only. They may have low click-through rates, but they're excellent for buying low cost impressions. In this video, I'll share tips for getting the most out of this ad unit. Now, because they're in the right hand rail, they get less attention. So use colorful emojis to draw the reader's eye to your message. Try a bright color, a check mark or something similar if it's aligned with your brand. Spotlight ads can use dynamic variables like a prospect's name to create a personalized experience. Using a person's name really helps get their attention. Additionally, using a background image can make your ad pop. Eye-catching textures and graphical elements are great here as well.
