- [Malcolm] Offensive security provides a set of freely accessible machines in their penetration testing playground, and this is the first of two online testing sites we'll use during the course. We'll be using the free play tier, Proving Ground. Once we signed up, we can log into PG Play. Here we can see the list of available machines that we can use in the Play Lab. To do testing, we can either use My Kali, which is an online Kali instance or we can download a VPN pack in order to use our own testing environment. If we hover over a target, we can see more details, and we can start it using the run button at the right. At the top, we have Lampiao, and if we hover over it we can see that it's an intermediate difficulty target and we'll be looking for Proof Doc text.
