All of your work in Smartsheet happens in sheets. It's where all of the data you work with lives. So let's start by taking a look at how to create a new sheet. I'm logged into a new Smartsheet account, and again I'm using just a free 30-day demo account here. So you can do the same thing if you're following along with me and I haven't yet created any sheets. I'll click the "Create new" button here, and that opens up a menu from which we can choose to create any of these types of projects or items. Alternately, we can come over here to the left navigation area and click the "Plus" button to go to the create area. This area is primarily focused on creating from a template, but you can also click the "Create new" button from here to see that same menu we saw in the home area. Now, there is a wide range of different types of templates covering a wide range of categories.
